Trails in Famenne Somme-Leuze

The Somme-Leuze trails in Famenne offer a beautiful glimpse of the Condroz region , between open meadows , cultivated fields , and picturesque villages . The routes explore a region that appears gentle, but is punctuated by wooded paths and surprising hills .

The green “Terre glissante” trail offers 6.17 kilometers and 141 meters of positive elevation gain . It winds around Heure-en-Famenne between country roads and forest paths , with a very steep section in the Bois d'Heure which adds a rhythm.

The blue trail “Sous la canopée” , 11.67 kilometers long with 211 meters of elevation gain , leads towards Moressée and then Ramezée . The route becomes more technical in the Bois d'Avennes , with beautiful sections through the forest .

The red “Chemin champêtre” route covers 21.7 kilometers and 319 meters of positive elevation gain . It connects Sinsin and Hogne via rural roads and wooded paths in a pleasant countryside setting , not very technical but sustained.

The black-rated "À flanc de colline" trail , with 34.67 kilometers and 695 meters of elevation gain , passes through Moressée , Ramezée , Somal , Failon , and Nettinne . The balancing section near La Foulerie adds an aerial touch to this long and varied route, ideal for experienced trail runners .
