Trails in Famenne from Rochefort

The Rochefort trails in Famenne offer a spectacular immersion in the Lesse Valley , known for its caves , panoramas , and unspoiled nature . From the Royal Tourist Office , the routes quickly reach Han-sur-Lesse and the limestone hills that overlook the plain.

The green trail “Le sentier ludique” offers 7.77 kilometers and 130 meters of elevation gain . Between gentle hills , deciduous woods and calcareous meadows , it offers a very pleasant single trail at the foot of the Han caves nature reserve .

The blue trail “Sur le fil du rasoir” , 14.46 kilometers long with 337 meters of elevation gain , leads towards Fond de Tion and Wavreille . The route is varied and ends with a technical descent .

The red route “Le sentier secret” covers 29.81 kilometers and 561 meters of positive elevation gain . It crosses Éprave , Auffe , Resteigne and Belvaux , alternating between hills , forests and more technical terrain .

The black “Griserie alpine” course totals 41.34 kilometers with 932 meters of elevation gain . It includes a climb towards Wavreille and exposed sections above Auffe , for a complete challenge designed for experienced trail runners .
