Herbeumont Trail Station

The Herbeumont Trail Station is located at the foot of the fortified castle overlooking the village, in the heart of a wooded setting typical of the Ardennes . It brings together 6 trail routes and 4 training areas spread over 95 km of marked trails .

The routes plunge into a vast forest , alternating between rolling sections, technical passages , and steep climbs . The terrain creates a natural sequence of short, steep ascents followed by descents towards the Semois valley . Continuous signage indicates each route's number and the color corresponding to its level of difficulty : green , blue , or red .

Each trail has its own character. The Bois des Conques trail stretches for 10.9 km , ideal for discovering the resort. The Tombeau du Chevalier trail offers a more intimate 8.8 km . The Libaipire trail covers 15.7 km and requires a brisk pace. The Forêt d'Herbeumont loop reaches 17.5 km through vast forested areas. The Vanne des Moines trail extends for 30.6 km for longer outings. The Vallée de la Semois trail offers 27.4 km punctuated by beautiful views of the river. Two routes are also dedicated to Nordic walking .
