The Capitainerie Namur guarantee a pleasant experience on the water , open to all from mid-April to mid-October . On site, a bar , a snack bar , and a marina welcome visitors and regulars in a relaxed atmosphere. From the quays, you can embark on a cruise along the Meuse River , which reveals the Citadel , the confluence of the Sambre and Meuse rivers , the Jambes Bridge , and the elegant houses lining the valley.
When it comes to activities, there's something for everyone. Stand-up paddleboarding , accessible from age 8 , is perfect for beginners as well as leisurely outings thanks to new and stable equipment . For groups, giant paddleboards bring families, friends, or colleagues together for a shared experience, while electric boats that don't require a license offer a different way to discover the city with up to seven people on board. The views of the Citadel , the Elysette , or the luxury barges are well worth the trip. Canoes and kayaks , for solo or tandem use, offer the same variety of scenery with top-of-the-line equipment.
The Capitaineries also host events for small and large groups, from 5 to 300 people . A barge and a 144 m² floating terrace complete the setting with the Citadel as a backdrop.
