With Adventure Blue Green , discover the Ardennes in a whole new way with packrafting , combining thrills , nature , and exploration . Packrafting , which originated in Alaska, allows you to combine hiking and paddling thanks to a small, lightweight inflatable boat that's easily carried in a backpack . In just five minutes , it's ready to go on the water thanks to the included inflation bag , and a collapsible paddle completes the equipment.

The activity is possible all year round , on weekdays as well as weekends , depending on weather conditions and water levels . The routes are varied: in the Two Ourthes Natural Park , on the Ourthe from Barvaux , Bomal , Durbuy or Hamoir , on the Amblève from Stavelot , on the Semois near the Giant's Tomb , or even on the Lesse at Gendron .

Packrafting is for everyone , regardless of fitness level . The pace is adapted to the participants, and two-person boats allow children as young as 10 to join. Each outing is led by a guide with extensive knowledge of the local rivers and trails. A shuttle service from a nearby train station also allows participants to join without a car .

During periods of low water , the adventure continues on the lakes of the region: Nisramont , Robertville , Butgenbach or the Upper Sûre .
