Between Lesse and Lhomme

This 80km mountain bike tour crosses some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Famenne, between wooded valleys, streams and vast plateaus .

From the banks of the Lesse, the route alternates between technical sections and longer, more rolling stretches, passing through typical Ardennes villages. A complete route that connects the Lesse to the Lhomme before returning through the deep forests of Maissin and Ochamps.

The starting point is near the Lesse river , on a route that quickly leads to Redu , a famous book village. After a marked climb towards the Roche des Voleurs or the Roche Minguet , the route descends into the woods, following the course of the Lesse to Daverdisse .

The paths then become more winding, bordered by streams and wetlands up to Le Houssi , before climbing towards Hamaide and then Bestin , on wide forest tracks.

Around Smuid , the circuit follows the Lhomme river , alternating between singletrack and rolling paths. The road towards Peroy and Ochamps offers a series of steady climbs ( Côte rue Lasence , Mur Maison Blanche ) before reaching the Monument to the 20th French Infantry Regiment , a witness to local history.

The return journey is made via long wooded paths towards Maissin , then along the banks of the Lesse , back to the starting point.
