Kayak Christophe , in Hotton , is a must-visit for enjoying the Ourthe River by kayak and discovering the region from the water. Their flagship activity is the descent between Hotton and Noiseux , a route of approximately 12 km that takes about 2.5 hours , in a peaceful natural setting where you can sometimes spot ducks, swans, or beavers along the banks.
For groups of more than 20 persons , a longer descent to Durbuy can also be arranged. While kayaking remains the core of the experience, Kayak Christophe also offers rafting on the same stretch of river when water levels permit.
Those wishing to complete their day on dry land can also opt for mountain biking trails departing from Hotton, with several levels of difficulty and e-bikes available. A great activity idea to combine nature, water, and adventure during a stay in the Ardennes.
