The route, punctuated by wooded sections and challenging climbs, showcases several iconic sites of the High Fens, including the Col du Rosier and the Belvédère de la Hoëgne viewpoint. The Thier de Coo , a short but steep ascent, opens this demanding circuit.
After reaching Francorchamps via a slightly uphill road, you continue towards Baronheid , before entering the communal forest of La Hoëgne . This shaded and peaceful wooded section leads you to the Belvédère de la Hoëgne , a natural viewpoint overlooking the High Fens.
You then cross the Bois de Belle Heid and the Arboretum de Tahanfagne , before tackling the ascent of the Col du Rosier , one of the most renowned passes in the region, long and steady, often used by cycling enthusiasts.
The end of the route descends towards Andrimont , Ruy , then returns towards Trois-Ponts along the Amblève , via hilly but rolling lines.
