Bike loop from Durbuy

Start and beginning of the route

The 75km loop starts from the village of Tohogne, located in the municipality of Durbuy , and is a challenging route through the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, with over 1,200m of elevation gain . This route is for experienced cyclists and offers a skillful mix of sustained climbs , fast sections , and typical regional landscapes , including deep valleys, forests, and peaceful villages.

Points of interest

  • Col de Harre : A steady climb of 5.27 km with an average gradient of 4% , which takes you into the heart of the forest massif.

  • Col du Fond de la Justice : A gentler section ( 5.13 km at 2.3% ), ideal for setting a pace after the initial efforts.

  • “Côte de Dochamps” segment : A hill known to regional cycling enthusiasts, perfect for testing your consistency.

  • Beffe-Melines descent : A fast and technical segment with several turns in the forest – vigilance and control required.

  • Côte du Gibet & Warre Short : Two short but intense climbs on the approach to the return to Durbuy.

Return to the starting point

The final section takes you back down towards Warre , then up again via Chemin des Mines , a final short effort before completing the loop in the historic center of Durbuy and then on to Tohogne.
